Robert L. Jarrell, III, OD, FAAO

Dr. Robert Jarrell, III is a native of New Mexico. He attended the University of Notre Dame and the Southern California College of Optometry. As an optometrist, Dr. Jarrell served five years in the US Army Medical Department with tours of duty in South Korea, Kosovo, and with the Army’s 101st Airborne Division. He has received extensive training and experience in ocular trauma, eye disease, refractive surgery, and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Jarrell currently serves as a Trustee for the Southwest Council of Optometry in Dallas and is a member of an Executive Committee for the American Optometric Association. He was named “Optometrist of the Year” in 2007 by the New Mexico Optometric Association.

Robert L. Jarrell, Jr, OD

Dr. Robert Jarrell Jr. has practiced as an optometrist in Albuquerque for over 35 years. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and the University of Houston College of Optometry. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, Dr. Jarrell served in the US Army Medical Department at Fort Reilly, Kansas. Dr. Jarrell has received numerous awards for his expertise in specialty contact lens fitting and research. He has also been involved with several FDA trials for new contact lens products. Dr. Jarrell has served as President of the New Mexico State Board of Optometry, the New Mexico Optometric Association, and the Southwest Council of Optometry.

Robin D. Jarrell, RD, CDE

Robin is our Chief Operating Officer and a Registered Dietician. Prior to moving to Albuquerque and opening Cottonwood Vision Care, she served five years in the US Army Medical Department as a Clinical Dietician. During her service she achieved the rank of Captain and received numerous awards for clinical and leadership excellence. Ms. Jarrell is a Certified Diabetes Educator and has extensive experience in medical nutrition therapy and wellness promotion.

 

Stephen Moeny

Stephen is our IT and Automation Manager. He is responsible for our secure cutting-edge electronic medical records system, website integration, and off-site data backup. Prior to joining Cottonwood Vision Care, Stephen worked as an IT Consultant for MGM Mirage in Las Vegas Nevada and Dell Computer. He has extensive expertise in secure database management, networking, and Microsoft applications. Stephen’s primary responsibility is to make sure your medical records and personal information are accurate and secure.

Ashli Labbe
